I have managed to get out three times so far this month, and all of them have been to a small lake where a friend has membership.
There are no large carp in the water, but what it does have is a good stock of roach, rudd and perch and you can get a bite every four or five minutes and have a good days pleasure angling with a float with no fear of continually being broken.
I have managed a further three outings to the lake and enjoyed catching the small fish immensely.
