Other Ministries

The ministry of the Trust, and Keith Wills in particular, involves many facets of ministry and evangelism. These have involved leading the York "Tell A Tourist" team, reaching thousands of tourists in the historic city during the summer; Bible College lecturing at Colleges such as Capernwray and Cliff College; training lay workers in preaching, childrens and youth ministry; consultancy with churches in continuous evangelism; training full-time evangelists both in Great Britain and Kenya; preaching in many parts of the world; Bible teaching, and writing.

The Trust offers:

Preaching

Preaching which is simple, relevant and challenging is a strength of the Trust. The team specialise in biblical  preaching applied to today`s society. Under God, it has impacted the lives of many and has seen not only people  coming to Christ, but also people called to full-time service and churches given a new direction. Invitations to  Celebrations, strategic events, as well as key preaching services in churches will be considered carefully

Teaching

The Trust is committed to the study and understanding of God`s Word. This means that the truths of the faith are not only preached but also taught in a clear and understandable way.

Keith Wills is a graduate of the London Bible College and is at present undertaking a B.A. degree course to keep abreast of biblical teaching. Other members of the team have years of experience and the wonderful ability to convey truth which has been a blessing to so many.

Keith has just completed a two-year Bible School for lay christians. Subjects covered include:

spot An overview of the whole Bible.

spot An overview of Christian Theology.

spot Studies in Matthew and John.

spot "First and Last Things".

Training

Both evangelism consultancy and training of groups and individuals has featured greatly in the ministry. The Paul/Timothy concept of training has led to a number of evangelists having been trained who now have strategic ministries in evangelism throughout the world.

Lay training has also been a great boon to many who have discovered their gifts and widened their effectiveness in church life. Specific seminars and day conferences on many aspects of evangelism can be arranged.

Over the years Keith has always had a young trainee evangelist working with him. Recently a lay person has accompanied him on many occasions and has become a tremendous evangelist in his own right.

Evangelistic Specials

Often specially prepared and prayed for single events which feature the preaching of the Gospel can  be wonderfully  effective as part of the evangelistic strategy of a church. Guest services, "Seeker  services", open air  evangelism, "Meals with a Message" as well as children`s, youth and target group  specials all feature in  the ministry of the Trust.
In recent years, the Trust has hosted and developed large scale events. These have included:

spot Three Interactive days based on both "Narnia" and "Superhero" themes. They have attracted literally thousands of people including many from other cultures.

spot A huge "Fun Day" held in Bolton town centre where hundreds of families enjoyed a day of fun activities and lively presentations of the gospel through children's programmes: music with flag dancing: magic with a message and personal evangelism.

spot School missions in both senior and junior schools involving classes, assemblies and special events called "Kids Bonanza" that attracted both children and parents.

Evangelistic Weekends

An evangelistic weekend or weekends can be arranged with your church or churches with a built in programme of training and community work. These can be exciting times where special focus is made on friends and family of the congregation who may not know Jesus in a personal way. The training is to prepare the congregation in how to share Jesus in an unthreatening way; advisors in counselling; and church leaders in creative ways of reaching the community. Why not book in for something that could change the whole complexion of your church.

Major Evangelistic Events

Keith and the team have experience of major evangelistic events reaching thousands of people. A programme of preparation for churches is offered as this is usually beyond a single church's capability. "Spearhead" provide the know-how, and in discussion with the local steering group, suggest ideal programmes for these events. Keith Wills is the evangelist on these occasions.

Schools Work

We have been involved in schools, both Primary and Secondary, for the whole of our  ministry. Thousands of  children and young people have had a presentation of the gospel, sometimes lasting  for an hour, besides assemblies and special lunch times sessions. There have been now  famous people, as well as staff and pupils who have come to Christ. We try to fit in with  the National Carriculum and the theme the classses This has  meant  a great response from both staff and pupils as we try and make the subjects lively, interesting and relevent. We are preparing a new team of workers to go into schools. If you would like to ne involved, let us know.

Weekend Bible Teaching

Keith has been invited to lead weekend Bible teaching  ministry where churches have gone to a different venue from their church in order to relax and take in God's word. Recently he was asked to speak on discipleship with a church from Bury. The exciting thing was that the leader of the weekend was converted on a previous  occasion when Keith was the guest speaker.
