Training

In order to touch as many people as possible through the mission it is important that the membership of each participating church are encouraged in befriending, praying for, sharing their faith with, and inviting their friends, relatives and neighbours to appropriate events. This is a daunting task to some, and often church leaders value the contribution we can bring through the special seminars where we:

• Help to take the sting out of sharing personal faith
• Give helpful encouragement in how to undertake friendship evangelism
• Give very practical advice on how to pray and see God work in the lives of our friends
• Provide work-books to make the teaching easy to remember and permanent
• Share the lessons we have learned with church leaders to encourage and stimulate them in their ministry

  During the mission time we also seek to help lay people discover and develop their gifts and give "on the job" training and experience where we are able. People in full-time ministry have also found it a great stimulus to work alongside the team as part of the mission.

PRAYER

This is the most vital part of the mission and often the most exciting as people see God answer prayers in the lives of people who have often been prayed for over many years. We have designed a seminar called "Prayer - God`s Resource" in which, in a very practical way, we look at:

Jesus` prayer life and His teaching on the vital nature of prayer for our Christian life

The Battle we often have with prayer and in prayer

Practical hints and suggestions on how to get the best out of prayer times.

Ensuring reality in Prayer

How to have a strategy in prayer to see God work

All this provides a base for the suggestions we then give for the personal and corporate prayer for the mission through prayer triplets, united prayer sessions, prayer clocks etc.

SHARING YOUR FAITH

Mission is not just the perogative of church leaders and evangelists. The Bible says "You are my witnesses". The Great Commission to share the Good News of Jesus is laid on the whole church. We all have different roles to play, and often it is a consistent life or a loving presence as well as the right word at the right time that God uses to help another to a living faith in Christ. The course called "Concerned to Care, Competent to Share" is a boon in all these areas.

What it means to be salt and light.

How we can all affect those around us for the Lord

Telling your personal story of faith with confidence

Sharing the wonderful story of the Gospel in a simple way

Helping someone to a place of commitment to Jesus

SHARING PRINCIPLES WITH CHURCH LEADERS

Keith Wills and the trust have had wide exposure to evangelism, continuous evangelism, church planting, and church growth from around the world. Many of the lessons can be shared to enhance the ministry and effectiveness of the local church. Keith has often acted in a consultancy role as well as lecturing at Bible Colleges and training other evangelists. Topics that can be covered include:
