Seaside Rock - Scott McKeon

By the age of six Scott McKeon, son of ex-Diplomats lead guitarist the late Geoff McKeon, was already playing a Fender Stratocaster electric guitar and singing rock'n'roll songs by Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and others.

Within six years Scott had appeared on national television and radio, played at the Hard Rock Cafe, London with an all-star backing band and been voted Young Guitarist of the Year.

By his early teens, Scott was gigging regularly with his own band, the Austin Blues Band, playing material by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy and Jimi Hendrix, as well as original compositions.

Now into adulthood, Scott has begun to forge a professional career as a blues musician and songwriter, and is a well-known and respected member of the British music scene. You can catch up with his current activities via www.scottmckeon.com

Scott's rise to fame is chronicled in the book "SEASIDE ROCK."
