This is the type of cage for the exhibition of Crested and Crestbred Canaries. It is a typical box type cage, with the exterior painted gloss black and the interior a pale green (Dulux code 30GY 72/196 Light Green).

Cage Front:
3/4" (19mm) Punch Bar.
2mm thick wire, painted black.
15 wires at 3/4" (19) centres.
Drinker hole is 1-1/2" (38) diameter.
Black hook-on type drinker is affixed to the front.

Cage Labels:
Cage labels are positioned at the bottom left hand corner on the front rail

Perches:
Two perches are positioned on the sixth wire from each end at the height of the front rail. Size 1/2" x 3/8" (13 x 100) and run from the cage front to the back of the cage.

The bottom of the cage is covered with seed for feeding purposes whilst at exhibitions.
