The club opened on the 6th of October 1985.Breeze on the "A"  Frame

The main aim of the club is for dogs and handlers to have fun and enjoy training. The club trainers only instruct and advise, the hard work is down to the members.

The Club meets on Sunday mornings at the Rother Valley Country Park in South Yorkshire, on the green area adjacent to the Water Sports Centre. This year our season will run from Sunday, 27th dog runningApril, with the final session of the year being on Sunday, 26th October. Session time are from 10:30 to 12:00 noon. dog runningNew members are always welcome.

Regretfully, although the Committee Members give their services voluntarily, we have to charge what we believe to be a modest fee to keep the Club solvent, maintain the equipment and for insurance purposes.

The charges for this year are as follows:-
   Membership Fees :-
    £5 - payable annually
    Session Fees:-
     £1.00 - per handler
    £0.50 - per dog

Bella at the top of the "A" FrameThere is also a fee for a participant to become a "Temporary Member" for one session. Anyone willing to continue at the Club must then join as a full member of the Club, at the prices shown above.

Jaffa negotiating the WeaveAll dogs must be at least between 9 to 12 months old, any younger than this cannot be accepted. Dogs must also have a basic Obedience training. If however your dog has not had Obedience Training the Committee will upon request suggest a reputable Obedience Training Class.
