WHO WE HELP
OUR MISSION
Established in December 1999, the Small Faces Charitable Trust was
set up to:
- Provide opportunities to benefit children stricken with poverty,
sickness or disablement.
- Improve the mental and physical health of children under the age
of eighteen.
- Assist beneficiaries directly by promoting their mental and physical
development.
- Cooperate and collaborate with other charitable institutions whose
goals network with those of the SFCT.
- Promote the advancement of education
The beneficiaries of the Small Faces Charitable Trust are young persons
under the age of eighteen who suffer from mental or physical illness
and their families. The charity helps by providing funds for:
- medical treatment and nursing care
- improving conditions for those who are undergoing medical treatment
or nursing care by providing transport so that their relatives and
friends who are in financial need can make hospital visits. The Trust
provides additional or improved equipment or amenities in connection
with their care and treatment
- advice and counseling services
- the education, training or rehabilitation of young persons who are
mentally or physically challenged, who through their social or economic
circumstances are in need, and to enable them to develop their full
potential as members of society
The Charity is governed by trustees who oversee fundraising projects
and initiatives, set policy, set funding priorities, approve grant
funding and provide administrative direction.
