Played as a TV exhibition game in Germany this is a stunning positional display from
Kramnik where he methodically squeezes the life out of Polgar's position by playing chess
- real chess. Beautiful to watch.
It's got a bit of everything this game, but above all the thing I love about Kramnik's
play is that he just keeps on proving that his pieces are more active than Polgar's,
each and every move of this game is a joy to behold. Fittingly the last move of the
game is when Kramnik brings into play his last piece.
A book could be written about this game.
