Why of why oh why?
Like many people out there, we have decided to make a few pages for
ourselves on our favourite game .
Of course reaction to the news that we were planning to launch these
pages was not exactly met with universal acclaim from everyone in the chess world.....
I surf around the cyber-chess world quite often, looking at this looking at that, and I
must admit there is something for everyone (see Links)
So is there really any need for yet another set of home pages devoted to the game of
chess? Aren't there enough already?
True there are several thousand of them, even in the directory of my own ISP there are
several dozen home pages which have chess content.
But ... and it is a big but ... the whole point is that should be more and more and more
voices out there being heard. And this I think can only be GOOD for the game of
chess.
