Answer follows:

Tigran Petrosian, the then World Champion was playing against Boris Spassky a future World Champion.  Spassky had been attacking Tigran for the last few hours, but Tigran was not so easily beaten and fought - like the tiger in his name - back to reach the position in the diagram, he played 1.Qh8+!!

Black is now lost as he must take the queen sacrifice with 1...Kxh8 it is the only move to get his king out of check.  Tigran followed up with 2.Nxf7+ capturing the rook and attacking both Spassky's king on h8 and his queen on g5, the black king can move and next move Petrosian captures black's queen with 3.Nxg5 leaving him a whole knight ahead - Spassky resigned - an extra piece is easily enough to win against even a player who will one day become World Champion.
