Strines Tennis Club is a small, friendly club in Strines village, near Marple, Stockport, in Cheshire, England. For detailed directions to the club, please click here.

We play on 3 shale courts. Club facilities include a bowling green (used mainly for barbeques, Bonfire night fireworks and children's play area) and the clubhouse (with refreshment facilities, table tennis, etc.).

We have some success with our three teams in the local North East Cheshire and Tameside leagues. For more team details (includimg results, tables, etc.), please click here.

At present we have only 30 members or so. New members are always welcome, from complete beginners to aspiring Martina Hingises and Tim Henmans. Please e-mail Rick Hardisty for further details about individual or family membership - current subscriptions (for the 2000 season) are £35 for individuals, £50 for family membership and £10 for juniors.
