We have an elite team of occupational therapists operating nationwide, with a range of specialities including paediatrics, brain injuries, and psychological problem. All Kirkpatrick Evans therapists are highly experienced clinicians, and experienced Expert Witnesses accomplishing in report writing and presenting their evidence to Court. Negotiation skills are finely tuned, essential for the preparation of Joint Statements. |
| Denise Ashworth DipCOT SROT | Denise Ashworth has nearly twenty years experience both in the hospital and the community with adults with wide-ranging disabilities. She has set-up and managed a care agency in the private sector. She presently works in the Wolverhampton area providing assessment, information and advice to people with wide ranging physical disabilities, and their carers. |
| Jackie Dean DipCOT SROT | Jackie Dean has worked as a therapist for twenty years. She has broad-based experience. Jackie now specialsies and works exclusively with people with acquired brain injury. She worked in an acquired brain injury rehabilitation unit for several years, but more recently has been working as a case-manager, implementing care plans and co-ordinating additional services and provision to meet need. |
| Jane Evans BA DipCOT SROT | Jane Evans has twenty years experience in hospital and community settings working with adults and children of all ages, and wide-ranging disabilities. Jane manages the consultancy of OTs as well as providing reports herself. She also case-managers and provides clinical services as required. She is a recognized teacher at the University of Liverpool and is also undertaking a Masters degree. |
| Clare Garside DipCOT SROT | Clare Garside has twenty years experience working in hospital and community settings with adults with wide-ranging disabilities both physical and psychiatric. Clare has experience of working with a Wheelchair Service Unit. She continues with this clinical role whilst also undertaking case-management work and working for a Trade Union Benevolent Fund. She also has a debt counselling licence. |
| Karen Kenton DipCOT SROT | Karen Kenton is a specialist paediatric occupational therapist with many years experience working with disabled children and their families. She presently works as a senior therapist within the NHS and also works as an independent case-manager with paediatric clients implementing care plans and co-ordinating services to meet need. |
| Clare Kirkpatrick DipCOT SROT | Clare Kirkpatrick has in excess of ten years experience working in hospital and community settings with adults of all ages and wide-ranging disabilities. She has also worked within the field of rehabilitation with young adults. Clare now manages a consultancy of therapists and provides reports and a case-management service. She also works with Disability Rights, statutory organisations and housing associations. |
| Valerie Kulkarni DipCOT SROT | Valerie Kulkarni has seventeen years experience as a hospital-based and community-based therapist with adults with wide-ranging disabilities. Val presently has a community post and works with a wide range of clients as well as running specialist groups such as a congnitive behavioural group for chronic fatigue sufferers. |
| Deborah Reid DipCOT SROT | Deborah Reid has been qualified for nearly twenty years and has gained experience working with adults of all ages and wide-ranging disabilities both in hospital and in community settings. At the present time she is based in a community hospital with both management and clinical responsibilities. She arranges discharge care packages, provision of equipment, and recommends housing adaptations. |
