Swanmore - just built

Interior of Swanmore
Swanmore was built on a Colecraft shell and fitted out by Lawrence, Andy and Mike who at the time were all working for Cowroast Marinas in Fenny Compton.  Despite our best efforts to design a 55 foot boat, Swanmore ended up being over 57ft  in length when completed.  The engine is a Lister LPWS3, heating by a Morso Squirrel stove and water heated by a "Paloma" instant heat.  We'd stretched the budget to get Swanmore built, so we decided to go for the best quality build and fittings that we could afford and leave out the "frilly bits".  I think that this paid off. We made a few changes as time went on - the two most obvious being the addition of the cratch and replacement of the "Paloma" with a calorifier.  We found that the Paloma would blow itself out from time to time.

Despite eventually selling Swanmore, we still feel the design worked well and were we to do the exercise again, there's nothing that we would change

Lawrence and Andy now work for themselves under the name of "Fenny Boat Services" and they are strongly recommended.
