A Tale of Transformation Vidal Sassoon Specialised course
Update 6/4/04

This is about a Specialised course student Hiroshi, a shy and introspective man. He is a hairdresser who also plays in a rock band in his free time (or he is a rock musician who works in a salon). Naturally he had long hair.

On the final day of the Specialised course, he became a model for the demo. He was reluctant because he inteded to have a dreadlock. The tutor of the day was Uwe, the Art Director of the Vidal Sassoon Creative School. Hiroshi was nervous at first and gave in to the idea of not having a dreadlock...and he started to enjoy. When finished, he looked at himself in a mirror and loved it.

The new style, created with a pair of scissors, a sharp sense and a precise technique, was a revelation in texture and movement. After the stunning transformation Hiroshi kept looking at himself in a shop window, mirrors in a pub and even on a back of a spoon in a restaurant. The hair style also transformed him into a self-conscious narucissist!
