This year, AHS cerebrates 20th anniversary. Started in 1983, the show has extended to Bologna, Chicago, and Seoul
.

Over the years, AHS has raised £4 million for the Leukaemia Research Fund.

Here, KOKO guides you to the show. ↓Opening ceremony . Singing and Ddancing by children from a theatre school. After that, show by each t team begins. Some photo can be enlarged by clicking.

The show is divided into two parts. A total of 20 teams have participated. One show lasts for a few minutes and next one comes on immediately. It is created for the audience to enjoy and the costume, choreography, props are elaborate. Above, the doll-like models and punk girl looks contrasting but they are in a same show. They all wears a corset and moves like a robot. Above right, Mahogany comes on the 7th.

Fumio Kawashima (right)creaties a traditional oriental atomosphere. Under their kimono, the models are wearing contemporary black mini dress. It has a Kabuki ending with white strings radiating from their palm (below right) The final show of the first half is Toni&Guy. Their collection at Salon International had a strong Gothic element. Here, black is eliminated but there were white-clad models with cobweb hair which one might call "white goth".

〜Interval〜
The second part begins with Sanrizz. "Double Geometrics", their new cutting technique , emphasizes A-line edges combined with geometrical dual-lengths. Next, flower-printed dress, handbag, long manicured nails and big hair, Mod's Hair" invites the audience to their retro and feminine world.

And Burlington's. The man in the middle is a regular at Burlington's AHS. He appeared on stage with a warm applause by the regulars in the audience. Their show has a strong connections to theatre and the performers are often from acting background.

The fourth show in the second part, Klaus Peter Ochs immerses the venue with bright colours with ethnic flavour. After that, Alan Edwards mesmerize us with elegant, almost ancient beauty. (Costume by Ziad Ghanem) The groups of gravity-defying hair is by Hairstudio Mario, the glittering costume by Roberto Cavalli. The ballerina with gigantic hat is Lazslo Hajas from Hungary.
Patrick Cameron. Kimono-like dress has a lovely multi patterned obi .

The show finishes with Vidal Sassoon.
