Characteristics of Specialised course
-It is especially designed to learn about how to teach others.
-Small class (maximum 7) makes it possible for inter-communication between teacher and students, and between students.
-Taught by Art Director of your choice
-Detailed feedback and assessment on every work session
-Students do the demonstration and receive advice and criticism

Why did you participate?
-I was not satisfied with Advanced Academy
-Being a salon owner, I was interested in methods of teaching/training
-I want to improve my techniques and find a better way to comvey my idea.
-I would like to enjoy haidressing more
-Learning in small number appealed to me
The course starts. After an introduction, an explanation on the course, a lecture about Classic demo and key points of demo was carried out. Everyone listens intently and takes notes.

-Consultation, History, Demonstration, Work Sessions, every subject was covered in depth.
-It was a tough course, but I got satisfaction from tackling dificult subject each day
-I've realized how much I liked hairdressing through this course

Work sessions take place every day. Josh checks each students' work meticulously. Small group enables closer attention.

-After returning to my salon, I was surprised that I was doing a demo with such ease
-I enjoy cutting more and I want to show other staff how one can improve
-The course enabled me to see my weak points objectively which gave me an aim to work for

-Explore more on how to carry out demonstration
-Allow more time on VS history and learn about how past styles influence current works.
About the teachers
-Both Danielle and Josh gave 110% and were enthusiastic
-Clear, precise and cheerful, Danielle was wonderful
-I want to be taught by Danielle again next year
Any other comments
-Contrary to my expectations, cuisine in London had variety and was high standard
-It was my first time in London but I did not encounter any problems-people in the guesthouse were very nice
　

The popular teacher Danielle started working at Vidal Sassoon in 1987.
Her titile is Creative Director for School and Academy.
On Specialised course, Daniella says: "It was a very exciting , special course . All the students were enthusiastic and we had a wonderful week. One can really benefit by taking this course every year and I would recommend that they continue. The course contents will largely remains the same, but adding some extra each year and be strict on marking, the course will be upgraded.
