This time, no definitive cutting style was detectable. According to Debbie the VS teacher, it is the result of reflecting the fact that many people today prefer individuality. As for colour, devide sections in tiny squares put together like a film negative or combining many X shapes. Gray, blue and purple are poplular, and cold and also warm colours are used together.

The Gothic seems to have been inspired from 1980s' Gothic boom, especially Siouxie and the Banshees.
