Located in the picturesque crofting village of Inverasdale, which lies on the shore of Loch Ewe in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty; this sophisticated and spacious apartment benefits from magnificent 360-degree views of the sea, mountains and glen. . There is a beautiful sandy beach for those summertime barbecues. Inverasdale is approximately a ten minute drive from Poolewe which offers a full range of facilities including the world famous Inverewe Garden and visitor centre now in the care of the National Trust for Scotland. Located centrally in the village is the Pool House Hotel, grocery shop & post office, handmade furniture and crafts shop, swimming pool, coffee shop, outdoor clothing shop, village inn and during the summer season a weekly market/craft fair is held in the village hall.

The apartment is fully centrally heated and can sleep 2 adults in the double bed in the bedroom and 1 adult or 2 children in the sofa bed in the sitting room. The accommodation comprises a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedroom, bathroom with both bath, overhead shower and complimentary Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. The living room has television, DVD player (with a small film library), CD player and elegant dining area.

The kitchen at Lapwings is equipped to a high standard with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker with separate grill and oven, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker and sandwich toaster. Washing up liquid, dishwasher powder, bin bags, cling film, tin foil, a selection of dried herbs, salt & pepper, tea, coffee & sugar are also provided. A washing machine is located downstairs for the use of guests and outside, a secure lockable shed is available for the storage of bicycles if required.

The interior meets the highest specifications and offers greater attention to detail and design than is generally found in holiday accommodation. All the rooms feature striking fabrics, fitted carpets and double glazing. Original water-colour paintings and attractive ornaments and accessories further enhance carefully selected contemporary furniture.

There is a garden, which is securely fenced on all sides and overlooks the surrounding fields, sea and mountains. A picnic table by the pond is ideal for al fresco eating. Off road parking is also provided.

Please note that free range chickens & ducks roam the garden and therefore dogs cannot be accepted.

The rental period is from 4pm on a Saturday to 12 noon the following Saturday and is priced at £350.00 per week. This price includes electricity, bed linen and towels, as well as a welcome pack. (This includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, free range local eggs, bread, locally smoked fish and wine). Occupants of Lapwings are further entitled to 10% discount on meals (excluding drinks) at Pool House Hotel. A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total due is requested at time of booking with the balance paid 4 weeks before arrival.
