The Bakehouse was originally a 16th Century kitchen to the main farmhouse. The old fireplace, bread oven and smoking oven are still intact in the sitting room.
The rest of the accommodation has been fully restored to provide a two-bedroomed self-contained cottage that can be used on a self-catering basis.
It consists of a sitting room with sofa bed, plus a double and a treble bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. It is centrally heated and the kitchen is fully equipped with gas and microwave cooking. Altogether, the Bakehouse can sleep up to seven.
Bedlinen & towels are provided, so all you need to bring are your provisions.
The Bakehouse is available for a weekend or short break throughout the year, whereas many self-catering establishments only offer short breaks out of season.
