Over the last 15 months much has taken place here at Levant. The National Trust acquired a substantial part of the site at the end of 1999 and have undertaken a great deal of stabilisation work within it, including conservation of the Pumping Engine House, Compressor House, Higher Bal Engine House, and several other buildings and structures.

20/12/2001 Levant is once again under the management of The National Trust. The contract with the Trevithick Trust finished in November.

20/12/2001 A new site will open hopefully early in the new year at a different address which has more space. This site will not be updated anymore, and will be removed once the new site is up and running.
