The surrounding countryside is very beautiful with many delightful walks and the village of Castle Combe has the reputation of the prettiest village in England.
The Manor Hotel with its gourmet cuisine is within 5 minutes walk of the cottage. The Castle Hotel, where one can eat good food at a reasonable price is also only 5 minutes away.
