Diary Entries - Wednesday 8th May

Editor - Hi...just apologising for the interruptions to LGB Students over the past 24 hours. We have moved our web host so we have been moving all our webpages and data to the new server. Things will be back as normal in a few hours.

Joe - Yey i'm finally feeling better! My illness has finally disappeared! The only thing that still hurts to do is yawn, how peculiar! Well anyway, hello, and welcome to Joe's silly little world that has been brought to you today thanks to candy floss, acacia honey and two trance nation cds!

I've finished my databases coursework AT LAST - it's taken me all day, which is a pity really, as if i had got down to it without distractions (e.g. sister act, neighbours, dinner, andrew texting etc etc) it would have taken about 15 minutes! Never mind eh, all in the past all in the past........

I'm in a great mood for no reason at all, i can only attribute it with discovering the truly amazing remix below and an overdose of sugar. Oooooh the best part of today HAS to have been having geography students (yes, geography students!) say hi to me! They said hi! To me! I'm so made up! Yeah, well, small steps Ellie. That's not the line. She's not even called ellie is she. Hang on *looks on IMDB.com* ah no i was right, that WAS the line! Line of coke more like..... thanks Rob...........

La la la! Anyway on that hyperactive note it's time for me to go and play with my friends. Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!

Diary Entries - Tuesday 7th May

Joe - Lordy, i really am turning into a film freak! After watching 'Not another teen movie' (amazing!) and 'Ocean's eleven' (dull...) yesterday, i then went out and bought 'Sister Act 1 & 2' today (both fab!) and also 'Sense and Sensibility' (one of my favourite films ever). Gawd! 

Anyhow! What's been happening in Joe's world today.... *scratches head* oh yeah, one of my flatmates left a death threat in the kitchen for me last night - how funny is that! I'm living with homicidal maniacs! Haha :oP Apart from that, i'm feeling quite a lot better today in terms of my little bout of sickness. Just have to say, my tummy is looking SO good thanks to that wonderful little machine! Yey full marks!

I also met up with Joe and his friend in town today which was nice, we had to go and buy a didgeridoo (yes that is how you spell it!) for someones birthday - random i know! Was nice to see him even if it was a bit brief.

Well anyway, time to watch another movie now i feel - anything to avoid revision! Crap, yeah, better do some of that too!

Joe - Ok, so i'm still feeling poorly. I think i might be on the mend, but right now i feel really crap! I've had a weird kind of day, doing bits of my computing coursework (so boring!), frequently interrupted by little bouts of sleep. Well anyway, i'm contemplating going home for a little bit as things aren't so good there at the moment. I feel like they could probably use me around the place.

So anyhow, i'll see what i can do... still thinking........ maybe i'm being too pensive today. Hey ho. On a lighter note, i just watched 'not another teen movie' and it's really incredibly funny! I'm also just about to watch 'ocean's eleven' coz i haven't seen it yet... having a bit of a movie-oriented day! 

Right well that's all from me, nowt much to say when i spend the day in bed is there! Apart from 'you put the ass in embarASSment, the boo in taBOO, and the suck in lipoSUCtion. You also put the brat in BRATwurst, the ooooh in jujitsU, and the ism in this is all just a defence mechanISM!' Fab quote :o)

Diary Entries - Sunday 5th May

Joe - Oooooh this weekend is just so random... and i feel SO ill it's just horrible. I've got this really icky sore throat and headache (pretty standard 'ill' on that front) and then i've also got really bizarre symptoms as well, like aching legs! How strange. What's really annoying me is that it doesn't matter how much i tell people i'm ill, they don't seem to get it at all... "ohhh come out to sugar pops etc etc it'll make you feel better"... grrr! Somehow i don't think the best thing i can do to get better is go and have another big night!

Anyway! Last night was, well, just great! I was sat in my room until 10 wondering whether or not to go out, i just really couldn't make up my mind! I eventually decided to go, seeing as quite a few people were expecting me places. I had such a cool time! It was fab! Went to poptastic with loads of mates which was cool, and afterwards ventured to paradise factory. Which made the evening financially viable (yey!) when the woman on the door gave me £31 change instead of £15. How cool! 

In paradise i met a guy off the geography course in my year, who (despite everyone at the geography social saying was soooo straight) was in fact gay. So there, told u! Anyway everyone buggered off leaving him, Andy and I on the bed talking. And because we were so selfish about hogging the bed (too right!) we really brought out the worst in a whole group of scally women. haha!

Well anyhow, that was last night, and it was great! But today i do really feel disgusting inside... i can't swallow without it really hurting (no rude comments please) and my head just feels so sore and weird. Oh well! Time to get back into bed i feel. Oooooh yeah but one more thing that made me laugh loads!! Last night, Tom got given some date rape drug by some woman, who also took it herself! I know it should all be very serious and scary, but HOW FUNNY!

Joe - Ok so first off an apology for not writing yesterday... i had one of those really really changeable and hectic days, it was quite fun by the end of it though! Work was... weird! It was quite strange not being in the gallery for once - Darryl was laughing at me saying that it was so obvious i missed it! But it cheered me up that Rob wasn't blanking me for once, and even seemed to be making a conscious effort to talk to me! Aren't i just incredibly special?!

Thursday night was SO cool! Me and Nina met loads of geography-type people and it turns out they're not all so scary after all! Yey! We started off at Gaia but quickly hopped off along to Deansgate locks, where i proceeded to get completely trolleyed and made a tit of myself. All the nights work wasted! Haha naaahhhh not quite that bad..... ;o)

But anyway, today is a bit icky so far. I feel ill for a start, which isn't helping. I'm supposed to be going out to poptastic tonight with quite the montage of people - a little smattering of work people, random friends, school friends and ex's all making up the crowd (or so i'm lead to believe!). But i've yet to see if i'll even make it there... by the way my head's feeling at the moment it doesn't look good. Oh and my ass is also really sore (no dodge comments please) from where i walked backwards into a bollard on thursday. That was clever eh! 

Well look at the time, it's uh... 14:29! And 14:29 is going to the supermarket with Melissa time, OBVIOUSLY! So that would be my cue to sign off. And In the words of Miss Imbruglia, "oh leave me alone, i'm walking out of the door, i'll make it on my own!". Yeah so naaaaaahhhhhhhhh!

Joe - I'm so tired! I feel like having a very long nap... no such luck! Everything today has been going very slowly. Especially the lectures. They've really just dragged on and on. And seeing as Joe can't come up tonight any more, i'm off out to the geography department piss-up! That should be fun... i've only spoken to be about 2 single honours geog students throughout the whole year! But never mind, time to bite the bullet i feel! 

I'm also very jealous as quite a few of my friends are going to see Kylie in concert tonight. I NEVER get to go to concerts! Either the tickets are already sold out (cheers Kylie) or people have 'accidents' and can't come (thanks James - never even got to see S Club!). Well anyway i'll stop moaning, coz it's just tiresome. Do i have anything positive to say? Truthfully, the answer is no. I think it's 'that time of the month'. Everything's looking very serious.

Oh well, time for me to go out now! Pass the baileys...

Diary Entries - Wednesday 1st May

Joe - Gawd! It's been a bit of a wild one. My head really is all over the place today, and RIGHTLY SO! I was soooo rudely awoken last night by a fire alarm, and had to evacuate at 1:30am. It wouldn't have been so bad, except i was stood outside for half an hour in the rain with nothing on apart from my "peruvian street kid" blanket and i was absolutely freezin! Try sleeping after that!

Well anyway, an early rise (ish!) at 7, where i indulged in my only meal of the day - half a grapefruit! Some people say crash dieting is bad for u, but i figured that's only coz they don't have the willpower to do it themselves. Works for me anyway. Although i am a little peckish right now! Anyway i had some rather uninteresting lectures this morning, followed by an even MORE uninteresting talk about next years module choices. Blah blah blah. I think i'm going to do the atmospheric systems module, even though i've been warned!!

Anyway, then had a little bit of this and that in work, meetings and the like. Very droll. And now i'm back at home. I lak sugar in ma lapsang. I also like pro-plusses i've decided! All the good things people have said about them..... they're all true!!!

Diary Entries - Tuesday 30th April

Joe - Ok, so maybe i was a little OTT last night! But what's a bit of a slump once in a while? Things today have been nice! A good old lie-in till 10 did me good, that is, until i suddenly remembered all the coursework that needs doing. So i did it. Yey! Done! Well, pressure is off for a few days i hope at least. 

I just went for a fantastically huge chinese meal with my flatmates and feel SO large now! It was one of those 'all-you-can-eat' affairs - never a good thing with me. I think i amazed all of them by how much i can cram into a teeny tummy! But i'm paying the price now... ugh! 

Anyway, maybe i'm just in a weird mood or something, but I really can't think of what to say in here today so i'll just stop here i think. Ummmm... oooh yeah, one last thing. If anyone saw Wipeout! today, they'll have to agree that Bob Monkhouse was just SO funny! It was just the best one ever! Haha!

Diary Entries - Monday 29th April

Editor - Hi again, just to let you know that the site will be chaging format slightly over the next few weeks so it's easier for us to maintain these sections. We are also adding a new section in the 'Fun' part of the site called 'Out and Camp'. In the new section there will be details of the trips we are organising, disco's, and a new exciting project in planning - Out and Camp Radio! The site will be up and running in the next few weeks so why not take a look! Take care

Joe - What a peculiar day... I had an exam. It went great. I did bits and bobs for the rest of the afternoon. It was great. I went to work. That was great. Aside from a couple of losers laying into me a bit. Which didn't really bother me coz i don't really care about abuse from random strangers! Went to a staff party. Not so great. Not sure why. Left staff party. Felt down. Went home. Feel crap.

It's bizarre. I've no reason to feel down. Am i being pitifully self indulgent? Maybe i need to just get used to being up and down. It's strange to think that if i'd taken that photo an hour ago it would have been a big smacking grin...

Well, never mind. I'll be just fine tomorrow i'm sure *climbs into bed and carefully places pro-plus next to pillow* night night ZZZZzzzzzzzzzz.....
