The mission of Lichfield Cathedral is to worship God and to work for His Kingdom

The worship of God has taken place in this place for more than 1300 years. The Offices (or Services) of Morning and Evening Prayer take place daily, and include the praise and worship of God, the reading of the Bible and prayer for the Church and the world. Eucharistic worship, in which we recall the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and through which we are strengthened to serve God with our lives, also takes place daily:
Services: Weekdays 0740 Morning prayer (includes Eucharist on Mondays)
0930 Eucharist
1730 Choral Evensong (except Wednesdays and during choir vacations when it is said)
Sundays 0800 Holy Communion (BCP)
1030 Sung Eucharist
1530 Choral Evensong
