Light more Light is an organisation of artists. This programme is an artist lead initiative using art and image for the purpose of uncovering identity as a major force and issue of communication. Key to our concept is to investigate identity as a possibility of exchange and not as a threat.

Identity Workshops

In the current climate of identification, surveillance and war on terrorism Light more light will run an exhibition, workshops, and performances looking at issues of identity and tolerance towards others, to uncover identity as a major force of communication. Key to this concept will be the investigation of identity as a currency of human exchange rather than a barrier. Integral to this project will be the cultural heritage of communities living in East London.

Eleven artists will run workshops for one day, working with the community within their practice.
