| Index | Thank you for
reading my poetry. I hope you found some of my verses
interesting.
They say that everyone has a book inside them. If your book weighs heavy on your mind, you may find it helps to get on your word-processor and start typing, preferably in the third person, using fictional names for your characters. When you've done that... edit it, spell check it... weep over it... and when you're thoroughly bored with it, reduce it down to a Sonnet. You'll find that a lot less of a burden to carry around! Well, it worked for me, anyway. Having read my work, you may feel that you could do better. Great! Glad to hear it. Have a go! I should like to thank David Ashworth for persuading me to 'do' poetry. He was the tutor in the Creative Writing Class that I attended. If you are interested, you will find similar courses are held in most colleges. I should also like to thank Sam's Mum for permission to publish 'The Chubby Cherub' on the net. Perhaps I should mention that the Copyright for the short story refered to in Free Verse, is held by 'Woman' Magazine. Only the names of the characters were borrowed from it. It was published using my pseudonym. I should like to thank 'Midland Exposure' for their help in getting my short story published. Their E-mail Address is- partners@midlandexposure.co.uk or you can visit their website at:- Thanks also to the various people who provided the ClipArt that I used to illustrate my poems. The images used here have been gathering dust for so long on my hard-drive, that I haven't a clue whom I should thank for what, but as I neither seek nor expect to profit from my work, I hope I don't offend anyone. I make no apologies for the swear word in one of the Sonnets. If you never felt the need to use it, I envy you your life!

| That's it. All done. Now all that
remains is for me to wing this off via FTP, whatever that is! I'm
about to find out.
I think I'll call my next site 'Oh no! Not HTML?'
Here goes... 'Bye.
