19th Century steamer SS Thesis.
Join us for the eighth annual SOMAP fieldschool. Put your pool skills
to good use on 19th Century shipwrecks in the Sound of Mull. Find out about

ScapaMAP:
the Scapa Flow Maritime Archaeology Project
(5th-10th August 2001)
Help record the wrecks of ScapaFlow as part of the SCAPAMAP project in association with NAS Scotland and Heriot-Watt University.
ScapaMAP, a research project based in the Department of Civil and Offshore
Engineering, Heriot-Watt University, promotes the better management of
the archaeological and historical heritage resources submerged in Scapa
Flow for the benefit of present and future generations. The project
is supported by Historic Scotland and the Carnegie Trust for the Universities
of Scotland.
