Jackie Brown, QT`s latest film, is now on general release over here in the UK as I`m sure you all know. I went to see it a while ago and although it is very different to Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs it is still pure Quentin Tarantino brilliance.
OK, so, the plot......well, Pam Grier takes on the title role as Jackie Brown, a stewardess turned arms smuggler. When she gets caught by the police she is forced to catch the dealers and the others involved, but she has other ideas.....
It stars Pam Grier, Samuel L Jackson, Robert De Niro, Michael Keaton, Bridget Fonda, and opens over here in the UK on March 20th.
You might be interested to know that a few months ago there was an interview with Samuel L Jackson and Pam Grier over the internet, and my question got asked to them, so they answered it, there and then. They thought that it was such a good question that I got sent a free copy of the Jackie Brown soundtrack. Needless to say I was extremely pleased with myself. When I went to see Jackie Brown all I could think was "Wow, they answered my question".....
