Television and Radio
With the advent of the internet other forms of media have singularly failed to keep up the advances in the technology and embrace it in a way that would create a stronger media as a whole. But alongside this the more traditional forms of entertainment do show a few rays of light:

Have I Got News for You (BBC)
A fine show, even after all these years and the (death) switch to BBC1, that continues to be satirical and funny.

Just a Minute (Radio 4)
The classic radio game show where the panel seek to talk on a subject for 60 seconds without repetition, hesitation or deviation from the subject.

John Peel (Radio 1)
The thinking mans DJ. Simply the last bastion of new music on Radio 1 and the champion of new music.

Mark and Lard (Radio 1)
Even thought the Graveyard shift was their finest moment and saved me during long project ridden student nights they are still strong today.

The Moon:
Did man land on it? (Yes) Did we see it? (No)
