Autumn Ace band with original lyrics and sound.
Switchblade Symphony Eerie goth music with twisting lyrics and a child like quality.
Type-O-Negative Huge Metal / Goth crossover band.
Moonspell 'Sin' is must have album! web site is down right now.
Fields of the Nephilim Can't wait to hear the new stuff.
Lacrimosa Darkly twisted techno goth.
Miranda Sex Garden Back together.. and a new LP too
Entwined Like a new Paradise Lost.
Dominion Great female vocals counter-pointing the gruff male voice.
Lacuna Coil Fantastic! Get hold of a copy of the "Half Life" Ep
Dimmu Borgir New LP due out in March 2001
The Gathering 'When the Sun Hits' is v v good.

To hear stuff by these bands either.... download their mp3z from the official web pages or get one of the compilation CDs that are springing up. 'Call on the Dark I & ][' are ace compilation CDs from Nuclear Blast Records. Trying not to stray into the more upbeat doom metal bands with this list... but here are a few names worth checking out. There is always some goth influence in the music.
