Whats so great about South Park? Well these days not a great deal... Its not that they quality has dropped, how could it have, its just things get old and once they do its the end. People try to save a sinking ship with hype but there comes a point where the hype costs more than its worth.It was fun while it lasted and that was longer than anyone could have hoped for.

I still like to come back to old epsiodes and laugh at the new ones (and the DVD of the film is never far away from my player) but the cybucal over marketing that come hand in hand with everything these days has left a hollow behind it, much like "episode one" did.

South Park will contine till its so dead and dried up that you wont want to remember it. We bleed everything dry these days. To be good just isnt enough unless you are financially sucessful as well.

Futurama is stealing the thunder now but we can always look back on South Park as the one that broke the mould for those that followed. It dealt with subjects that were totally taboo and made them talking points and more often than not they had both sides of the story and the moral at the ending...It just was not shoved in your face. If you failed to see the message is that the fault of the show or the viewer.
