Coming
Soon! Photos and an article about my first planted Discus community
aquarium. This will be the first aquarium to be sited in my lounge
at home for 12 years and is only going ahead because my wife
has insisted that it has to be a planted aquarium and must contain
other fish in addition to Discus.
I have always been
a great believer in the the bare tank method of keeping Discus,
so this should be an interesting project to follow as I set up
this 5' x 18" x 18" (70 UK gallon) tank.
I have the tank, I've
built the cabinet and it's all starting to come together! Next
job is to construct the sump filtration system. You'll be able
to see my methods and witness my mistakes (not too many of these
I hope!)
Check
back here soon for photos and to follow my progress!
Disaster
or success, only time will tell!

project could not happen without the help and support of the
