A quick message from those who went to the opening of The Terriers Tale exhibition at the KC said that it was wonderful, with all sorts of MT memorabilia to look at. If you are coming down to the Happening, on the Friday there is a coach to take members to see it at a very reasonable price, so make sure you book early. Otherwise you just have to telephone the office for a time to view, a once in a lifetime chance to see them altogether as most of the items are from private collections.
Jean went along to the Macclesfield Limit show, the motorway was under snow but no problem, the problem came when she arrived at the hall, a concert was booked for the same day so the show was cancelled, a pity they could not have tried to contact folk before they set off, she does`nt tell us if she stayed to listen to the concert!
While there is snow about do remember to wash your dogs feet if they have been walking over the salt on the roads, if they salt spread for some time the dogs pad`s can get sore and then splits are more likely to occur. We are careful with ours on the fells as the going is just like concrete as the moment, and they run about like fools jumping on and off rocks but fingers crossed so far they have`nt pulled a muscle - yet, will have to watch out as Crufts is getting close.
