3rd October 1964. Preserved class K1 The Great Marquess built for the Glasgow to Fort William/Mallaig line in Scotland on railtour duty at Deerness Valley Junction having come from Bishop Auckland. This train had been to Hawes and Barnard Castle and was later seen on its way to Consett behind a Standard Class 9F. Behind the loco are the houses where John Grimes lived
