LILLIPUT LANE COTTAGES GREY/BEIGE DIP CHART

 VERSIONS OF APRIL

  1. TOP LEFT version 0-1, no back stamp, I would suggest that this cottage is grey dip, 98 grams.

  2. TOP LEFT CENTRE version 0-1, no back stamp, I would suggest that this cottage is grey dip, but with much deeper colours, not a late paint, 108 grams.

  3.  TOP  RIGHT CENTRE version 0-1, no back stamp, 132 grams.

  4. TOP RIGHT  version 1-1, single line back stamp, I would suggest that this cottage is grey dip, 122 grams.

  5. MIDDLE LEFT  version 1982-1 straight edge, 1982 back stamp, 127 grams.

  6. MIDDLE LEFT CENTRE version 1982-1 grassed edge, 1982 back stamp, dark brown timbers, 113 grams.

  7. MIDDLE RIGHT CENTRE version 1982-1 grassed edge,  1982 back stamp, almost black timbers, 113 grams.

  8. MIDDLE RIGHT  version 1982-1 grassed edge, 1982 back stamp, 103 grams.

  9. BOTTOM RIGHT  version 1984-1, 1984 back stamp, pre 1985 medium & paints, 194 grams

  10. BOTTOM LEFT version 1984-2, 1984 back stamp, post 1985 medium & paints, 229 grams.

 

Please note the significant variation in colour of these pieces, particularly the very pale version on the  top left and top right, all three of the no back stamp varieties, have the same damaged left hand chimney pot, which suggests an impaired mould.
