STRICT CONDITIONS OF SALE,applicable to all purchasers.Due to an ever increasing amount of "red tape" in the form of complex regulations to deal with the use of all electrical equipment,the days are sadly long gone, when it was possible to supply, say an old vintage receiver in working order, to someone with enough knowledge and common sense not to behave in a stupid or mindless fashion, so as to either injure himself or someone else.Radio enthusiasts the world over are a pretty sober bunch of generally knowledgeable and reasonable people,but unfortunately,due to oppressive legislation with which we have no alternative but to comply,we are force to treat all customers as potential idiots,with a marked intention to sue.Sad,but there it is,so please note as follows: Most,if not all, of the equipment which we have for sale is OLD.In some instances,it is VERY OLD having been made at the commencement of the 20th Century.Where the description of the equipment indicates that it is in working order,(and the vast majority of our stock is in working condition) this fact is stated for information purposes only and does not imply that the equipment either can or should be used.All equipment supplied by us,without exception, is sold on the express condition that it is for display purposes only and not for use.Moreover,in order to preserve the safety and well-being of purchasers,all equipment,without exception,is sold on the express condition that under no circumstances, will the purchaser apply power to any equipment,unless and until the purchaser has had the equipment examined and tested (at the purchasers own expense) by a competent qualified electrical engineer and that engineer has certified in writing that it is safe so to do.
