Purchased in 1985 this 1967 MGB GT MKI chassis number GHD3/130875G is the first MG I ever owned and still do. Campaigned tirelessly until the arrival of 8MG080 and later the MGA's. This car is believed to have spent much of its early life in Malaysia, if you know any of its former 1985 history please let me know. Originally Red, I’ve seen White, Gold and Several shades of Blue in it’s past. It competed in the MGCC WA club championship for many years. Notable highlights include winning a midnight trial, second in the economy run (featuring a 2 and later 3 cylinder MGB engine), Fastest GT in Perth for many years. Back in 2002 it received a new paint job and 5 speed gearbox, but patiently awaits an interior re-trim.
