Enduro Tyres

There are a number of Enduro type tyres on the market with spacing between the block treads greater than the block width and that have been approved for road use. however, according to the mot manual these tyres should fail. If a machine is presented for mot fitted with these tyres, they should not fail them just because of the block spacing.

If the tyre is marked MST (multi service tyre) and there is an E in a circle, or an E in a rectangle moulded in to the tyre wall this shows that the tyre has been approved for road use.
reason for failure, an unsuitable tyre therefore does not apply to these tyres.
