BAD2  ----  Base  Air Depot 2 --- Warton . Lancashire England

Warton was a huge Bomber Air Base and Depot during WW2, one of the largest in Europe. Assembly and repair of allsorts and sizes of U.S. bombers during the war, also a bomber base in its own right. These are the guys who did all the work. The guy with  white hair and no cap is over 90!!. This was their last every visit to Warton, so we had to come and give them a good send off.

 Warton Village school was out in force to greet the Veterans and the UK service men who served there.

And Lastly ..............   Who wants a biscuit ????
