The 3 colour Sunburst has to the the true classic colour for a Strat. The varnish showing the lovely grain of the Alder body. I know the pick guard looks white, but it is parchment, like a very very light off white. Giving it a nice aged look. The maple neck also has the same patina of age to it.

Also can be seen the two point tremolo, rather than the 6 screw type. This is a lot harder to tune, as it constantly pulls the bridge. So I have installed one heavy tremolo spring in the back, pulling the bridge plate tight to the body. No tuning problems now.


Staggered tuners, means, that the low E and A string machine heads are taller than the rest, giving a better string angle to the nut, thus eliminating the need for a second string tree. Well that is what the book says....
