Where the air is fresh and sweet. The roads are small, tight, twisty and high in the clouds . The villages are full of tourists with caravans, mountain bikes and climbing boots. Just right for old cars, old English cars, old American cars, old Italian cars, with big engines, very big engines, very very big engines, very very big V8 engines. Using lots of petrol, using lots and lots of petrol, burning up the Earth's natural resources as fast as humanly possible. If you thought the English Lake District was full of ecological and environmentally friendly people in tweed jackets, ruck sacks and ramblers in their nylon anoraks, think again!!!
There is more to life than miles per gallon......

My Son, James, in my 1942 Willys MB "Ruthie" (Jeep to you), and newly painted trailer "Ruthie 2". Always wanted one, so a round trip of 500 miles to Bristol in November 2002 with Land Rover and trailer, and here it is a few years on. It needed some work, but it has been great fun.
