Day 2 with Kompanie 1. prepare to go..

Set on an old RAF Base on the west coast of Cumbria, this was the first event the organiseres had ever done, and it all went great.  Rupert (driving Dodge) and myself, getting ready for our second day with Kompanie 1. I'm packing my canteen into a musette bag on the side of the my jeep, left of pic.

On day 2, we obtained the blank firing .30 Browning for my gun mount for this day's battle, VERY NOISY !!! 500 rounds clattering about on the jeep's floor... We had our own Colt auto .45's with us, but no blank ammo. Luckily, a member of Kompanie 1 gave us a handfull each, so at least we could defend ourselves (?).....

crushing his hand with a grenade which was strapped to his chest, ouch ! His hand never really recovered.. Ahhhhh!!!
