Close-up shot of the back of my F.
Inside view Inside view. Note the home made red carpet mats and Red snooker ball gearknob (which was purchased from the Demon Tweeks Catalogue for £20.77 including VAT and postage. Part No. OMPODA1997R. Phone 01978 664466 for a free catalogue. They have lots of other styles, colours, wood, alloy, carbon fibre etc to choose from.
This picture was taken on day one - 18th January 97 when I took delivery of my F showing it's original registration number P14 MGF.
Centre console Centre console showing MG carbon fibre trim. Mike satur stainless steel handbrake lever. Snooker ball gear knob and MG Car Club grill badge mounted to the left of the steering wheel - and on the other side of the steering wheel is the MGF register grill badge.
Engine exposed Here is another shot showing the engine cover area exposed.
Engine shot And here is a close-up of the wonderful VVC engine! Note the oil filler cap. Much easier to do an oil change and add the oil here instead of via the dip stick orafice.
Parade laps at Silverstone One of the benefits of being a member of the MG Car Club. Me having fun at the 47th M.G.Car Club International M.G. Meeting, Silverstone 14th - 15th June 1997. Parade laps of Silverstone race circuit. Photo by Envisage Photographic. Note the water dripping from the underside of the car - the track was very wet , but the sun came out - hence the roof being down.
Parade laps at Silverstone Another shot of my car doing the parade laps at Silverstone, June 15th 1997. Photo by Steve Hill of Goring on Thames. Thanks for the picture!
Centre console Just to the right of the steering wheel is mounted my MG Car Club MGF register grill badge; with my MG Car Club grill badge mounted on the other side. The non standard gear knob lowers the height considerably over the standard plastic item. The home made carpet mats were a bit of off cut carpet I found at work; which I cut to shape and then had the edges professionally sewn up by a local carpet shop - total cost £8!
Centre console Centre console showing MG carbon fibre trim (looks better at night - in daylight it looks a bit dull but in semi darkness it really sparkles when it catches street lights etc). I put the grill badges there to see what they looked like but then decided to mount them either side of the steering wheel - see picture above. Why didn't I mount them on the front grill?

a) I don't want them to get nicked.
b) I didn't want to spoil the nose of the car.
