This isn't intended to be a definitive guide to the art of home brew nor is it a repository for countless recipes, there are plenty of other sites around that can do that.

As a complete new comer to the hobby in summer 2001, these pages serve only as a record of what I did and when, so that I can improve on bad ideas and repeat good ones. Just like my electronics notes, the backs of envelopes and scraps of paper have proved to be an unreliable medium for storing records.

2006 saw my last country wine activity. This repository will remain on-line for as long as my provider will host it for free!

If you find anything here helpful or interesting so much the better, feel free to send some feedback accordingly. If not, it's no skin off my nose! If you are a modem user please be patient, there's quite a few image pre-loads before the page works properly.

Here are a few general pointers which I've found useful.

If the patent Booze-O-Matic doesn't work on your system, try THIS instead!

Just a small note about suppliers. The old fashioned home brew shop is an endangered species, and if you are fortunate enough to have one close by support it at all costs. However, if you are in one of the many areas with no such facilities I can recommend the on line service provided by The Home Brew Shop. Their stock is extensive, their prices keen and there delivery prompt.
Recently discovered is JP Homebrew, who have a fast and friendly mail order service (and an eBay shop). Well worth giving them a try at http://www.jphomebrew.co.uk/
