DAY 1: 29-03-06
At only £0.09 a punnet, the 'out of date' blueberries were too good not to snap
up and turn into a gallon of wine!
The berries, dried fruit, thinly sliced citrus fruit and the sugar were briefly brought
to the boil in 4 litres of water. Once removed from the heat and allowed to cool
a generous teaspoon of pectolase was stirred in, and the contents of a previously
prepared starter
bottle added.
DAY 2: 30-03-06
Stirred. Not much
sign of activity!
DAY 3: 31-03-06
Stirred. Picking up speed.
DAY 4: 01-04-06
Stirred. Going well!
DAY 6: 03-03-06
The must was strained through a fine nylon bag into a sterilised
demijohn as the activity was much decreased, and the threat of overflowing
airlock had passed.

Kind of lost track of this one!
Suffices to say that the wine was bottled late 2006, with several given away as
Christmas gifts. A fine fruity way to conclude my home brew activities.
