We have recently been concentrating on a healthy eating program at nursery, encouraging parents to ensure that each child is provided with fresh fruit and vegetables in their lunch boxes every day and we have asked that no sweets or chocolate are sent. We have tried to combine our efforts with guidelines for healthy eating being promoted by the borough in their recent campaign. Children are encouraged to eat and various fruits, vegetables and healthy foods; discuss and learn from this experience. If our parents provide back up at home on these lines, we are convinced our children will grow up healthy and happy, being able to take full advantage of our learning through play policies at Trinity Hall. |
