The Powers O' Faith.

Elias Byron slepted fitfully when the dream or vision came to him.
'Elias, Elias Byron' boomed the voice that simultaneoulsy sounded like thunder and a chorus, Byron dreamt of opening his eyes.

'Your Task lies before you', it then became apparent the visions he had received of the gunfighter John Henry Holliday, were to do with this.
'They have turned him, he now walks the Dark Design' said the voice.
'As do many, so many' replied Byron,
'This one must be stopped' answered the voice.

'Very well, as Gods Warrior I shall stop Doc Holliday, or die trying', with that Byron gathered his pack and set out toward Iowa,  where he would meet Doc Holliday.

The Sun had just begun to dry the outskirts of Chicago, Thomas Yewl aged 9 sat cold and miserable upon the roadside, sheltered only by the munitions factories around him.
He shrank into himself as the Union Soldiers occasionally wandered around the fence, but none bothered him.
'Good mornin to you' suddenly came a voice.
Thomas turned to see what could only be a preacher, old clothes and a travelling bag.
'My I'll wager yourself has not eaten recently' said the Preacher.
Thomas's first instinct was to run, the Preachers voice had power but something about the adult calmed him, made him automatically likable.

The Preacher reached into his bag and after rumaging for a minute or so, produced some bread and cold meat.
Sitting next to the boy he handed him some and chewed on the rest.

'It seems to myself that a young man such as yourself, might see a lot of people'
Thomas nodded while wolfing the fresh bread down,
'Have you seen this man' the Preacher unfolded a picture of none other than the Gunfighter and Gambler Doc Holliday.
'Everyone knows who he is, thats Doc Holliday', Thomas felt pleased that his avid reading of Dime Novels had come to some use.
'Seen him recently'
'No, he's in Tombstone' exclaimed Thomas.
'Thank you young man' replied the Preacher, 'If you do see him around these parts you be sure to look me up'
'The names Edgar Van Gelist' and with that the preacher walked on into the city.

Faith.  Top.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for
light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight!
(Isaiah 5:20-21).

The Day of Reckoning allowed darkness walk upon the Earth, many valiant heroes have stepped into the breach, but none whom the Reckoners abhor more than the Blessed.
Armed with faith and now divine powers or Miracles,
These soldiers of God and the Truth may very well be

Our Last Hope.
