The Legacy Chip.

The Legacy Chip is the most Powerful Fate Chip awarded. The Chip is Purple and not included in the Pot, instead it is awarded to a player only upon the achievement of 10 (Tombstone) Grit or to a Posse and upon the defeat of a major Servant or plot of the Reckoners,  essentially when the Hero has won a monumental victory for the Forces of Good.

The Legacy Chip represents the impact that the Player or Posse has had upon mankinds Fate, its uses are equally impressive.

Uses of The Legacy Chip:  The Legacy Chip may be used in two circumstances, firstly while the Character or Posse live, to bring about dome dramatic occurance to imediate humanities general benefit.  Alternatively the Chip can be commited by the Player or Posse to leave a Legacy after their demise.

The Here and Now. Top.
Should the Chip be spent while the Player/Posse lives it may be used in the following ways, in either usage the Chip once spent is gone from the Pot:

The Legacy Chip can influence Aptitude/Traits or cancel Wounds,  it does so on the basis of increasing the desired Dice Step by One or the Cancellation of all Wounds on a number of people adjudicated by the Marshal.
The upper limit to this is in the hundreds,  examples of which would be the Guts of a small Army fighting for the side of Righteousness or cancelling the Wounds of all the patients on a hospital ward.
The Duration of the Step Increase is the entire scene (So the Army would gain the bonus for the duration of the battle).

The Legacy Chip can also defeat Death, should a person have led a generally virteous life,  a Legacy Chip may be spent to return that person to life,  this is real breathing resurrection not Harrowed Undeath.

Finally a Legacy Chip may be expended to reduce the Fear Level for an area equal in distance to the Heroes Spirit Coordination in Miles Square,  the Hero makes a Spirit (Faith) Test TN: 5, per Raise decreases the Fear Level by 1 (To a minimum of 1).  This effect lasts until the cause of the Fear rebuilds the Level (Or the Posse continue their good work and destroy it).

Leaving A Legacy. Top.
Alternatively the Character or Posse may spent the Legacy Chip Proactively to leave a Legacy after their gone.  The effects of this are up to the Player(s) and Marshal to decide and is permanent (Unless a titanic effort to destroy it).  Examples of this could be ensuring that a child who has lost her parents to raiders is financially secure for the rest of of her days or enjoys good health.  Alternatively a town in which the Fear Level has been reduced through an Abominations defeat and Tale Tellin, the Fear Level could be permanently contained at 0 through the expenditure of the Legacy Chip.
The Marshal and players would have to think of a reason why Abominations could not raise a Fear Level.

Consequences. Top.
As you might have surmised, the Legacy Chip is not spent for selfish or personal reasons,  the Hero/Posses actions have inflicted significant defeats upon the forces of Darkness whether human or monster,  this is their chance to affect the lives of many for the greater good or leave a lasting memory of their Deeds
The price of this is steep at this Level of notoriety the very Darkest Servants of the Reckoners will be seeking their destruction.
