The children of George and Mary were mentioned in George's will of : William who was buried on 17th December 1679/80 in Stalmine; in his father's will of 1675  William is described as >my eldest son'; John who married Jennet Anyon, - a John son of George Leuthas of Hambleton was buried at Stalmine on December 19th 1724 - is this John? George's other children were  Elizabeth and Matthew the blacksmith, described in his father's will as >my younger son'.  George says - >when they shall reach the age of one and twenty' suggesting the children were minors when he drew up his will. There is a record of a baptism of Mathew Leute to George of Stallinge at St Michael's on 23rd September 1666.  This fits with Matthew, who named his eldest son George.
