Poulton-le-Fylde Historical & Civic Society

Welcome to Poulton-le-Fylde Historical and Civic Society.

The town lies about 5 miles east of Blackpool and is part of the borough of Wyre.

Poulton is one of over 60 small hamlets in the Hundred of Amounderness recorded in the  Domesday Survey of 1066.

The links are intended to give visitors a  flavour of the town and its past, present and future.  We  welcome contributions from all those with an interest in the history of Poulton-le-Fylde and its surrounding communities.
