'Textplans' is an name given to the graphic and visual texts developed out of the material of the emails. This process is related to my ongoing interest in spatialised writing and in the possibilities of translation between visual material and text.
Each email has a corresponding 'textplan'. The process of making the 'textplans' is done by printing out and treating the email - through photocopying and digital processing. the 'textplans' are not meant to be exact representations of the emails, but more a kind of changed material outcome, where text is transformed into a related but distinct new form. Aspects of the original email remain and it is possible to trace these connections by referring from one to the other.
